Our journey, steeped in tradition and entrepreneurial spirit, began in 1947 when Maurice Simon, my beloved grandfather, embarked on a humble retail butchery venture in the heart of Oldham.

During the 1970’s and 80’s through rapid growth and a series of acquisitions; we saw SPL transform into packers, rice millers, and importers of speciality ingredients. Under the direction of my Father, Harold, Simon’s Poultry Ltd. transformed into an international commodity trading company, becoming SPL foods Ltd in 1984.

Our team of dedicated experts within the supply chain ensures a seamless experience from start to finish.

With 100,000 square feet of warehousing across our expansive 7- acre site, we are well – equipped to meet your diverse needs. We also utilise 3rd party warehousing facilities strategically located around the UK to further support our customers’ requirements.

We are proud to provide a continuous, reliable, and exceptional service that has been our hallmark throughout our illustrious history.

At SPL Foods, our goal is simple – to import the finest dried foods from across the globe and tailor them to serve a diverse range of customers.
